Call for Abstracts
The SIGMA 2026 Organizing Committee warmly invites you and your team members to submit abstract(s) for poster presentations. We particularly welcome studies that leverage innovative technologies and offer novel findings capable of substantially progressing the field of glaucoma management.
50% Discount for Abstract Presenters
The presenting author of an accepted abstract will receive a 50% discount on registration fees. The discount code will be provided to the abstract presenters upon notification regarding their abstract’s acceptance.

e-Poster Session
Poster presenters are encouraged to engage with guests and participants by sharing their findings displayed at their e-poster in the Exhibition Area. Several E-poster viewing sessions/ coffee breaks are scheduled throughout the event to facilitate interaction.
Preparing Your Abstract for Submission
- Please create an account to submit your abstract(s) in English. Submissions transmitted by other means, including email, post, or fax, will not be accepted.
- You should not have submitted your abstract for formal publication or to a preprint server before the abstract submission deadline.
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations. You will not be able to submit your abstract if the word limit is exceeded.
- You can upload your images, photos or tables in the format of pdf/ doc/ xis/ docx/ xisx/ txt/ rtf with a maximum size of 2MB.
- Please classify your abstract within the single topic that most accurately describes its content:
- Advances in Glaucoma Diagnostics
- New Medical and Pharmacological Management in Glaucoma
- Advances in Laser Technology for Glaucoma
- Imaging and Protection for the optic nerve
- Surgical Innovations in Glaucoma
- Others
- Please structure your abstract body as follows:
- Background / Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Presenting Author/ Co-author
- You can submit multiple abstracts, but you can serve as the presenting author for only one poster
- You can be listed as a co-author on multiple abstracts and E-posters
- All author and presenter details must be provided at the time of abstract submission. The individual submitting an abstract is not required to be the presenting author.
Abstract Book
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book which will be distributed to all participants of the event and made available on the congress website. Authors shall retain copyright of their work. By submitting an abstract, consent will be granted by the author for this publication.
Language
The official language of the congress is English.
